Isaiah 55:10-11: God's word won't fail.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Proverbs 31:10-31: Where are the virtuous women?

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

Acts 2:38-39: The plan of salvation.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Raise Your Hand if you Love Music

I had a guy tell me he doesn't like music. What? I don't understand. The harmony of a gospel quartet? Beethoven? Come on now.

Music Monday

If I told you what I really need from thee would your heart and soul say yes? That's what God wants to know. Our answer should be quite simple: "Yes." This song is a few years old, but it gets me every time. Have you honestly told God yes? Yes, I will declare your glory. Yes, I will sing for you. Yes, I will submit my will to yours. If you haven't now is a good time.

Music Monday

I'm stealing from Twitter again. Every Monday I will post my favorite gospel music songs. I love worship music. Foot stomping, toe tapping music is great, but there's nothing like a nice worship song that brings tears to your eyes. My friend and fellow brother in Christ sent me this YouTube video of Lawrence Flowers and Intercession. It's such a great worship song. I hope you enjoy it and surrender to Christ today...give Him more! Enjoy this #MM!

Saturday Morning Worship

When I was younger I loved waking up on Saturday morning to the smell of bacon, eggs, Grands biscuits, and grits. Well, I'm not raally a fan of grits, but the other smells were awesome.

Another thing I loved was waking up to the sound of gospel music. My mom loves Shirley Caeser, the Clark Sisters, and the Williams Brothers. We would pray together and read the Bible as well.

Saturday morning worship was something I always looked forward to. What do you remember about your Saturday morning worship?
