Isaiah 55:10-11: God's word won't fail.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Follow Friday

I decided to steal an idea from Twitter and do a pseudo #FF on my blog. My Follow Friday will be all about Jesus though (I mean really...who else should you follow?).

On Fridays I will post articles, scriptures, and other tidbits that will make any non-believer want to take up his/her cross and follow Jesus! Today I will post a scripture.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Now doesn't that want to make you jump up and shout! Doesn't that make you want to drop everything you're doing and surrender to God? Doesn't that make you want to be a follower? Look at what the Lord will do if you hearken (listen with intent to do) unto him. I'm excited. I hope you are too.
